Another delight from the TARTINE cookbook; however, without an electric mixer or even a hand-crank egg-beater, my loft was limp as a dead drunk. FUN FOOD METAPHORS! Turns out beating meringue BY HAND is one thing my headstrong determination can't achieve. Maybe someone will get me the Shake Weight for Christmas this year. THEN the Meringue will really fly.
