Phil van Hest | Thursday, January 6, 2011 After I invented this, I was immediately appalled by the short and long term ramplications(it's a combination of ramifications and implications).
Basically, I am proposing software that uses facial recognition technology to search an image database of pornography and produce a facial match to whatever photo you upload. You can imagine what happens next. If you can't imagine what happens next, I am unsure whether to laud or fear you.
Noelle is sure this the largest cash cow of all my outrageous ideas, and my gut tells me it will be the most damaging thing I can do to society.
At least it doesn't model their face onto a 3D CGI pornstar and let you order them around. That will assuredly be the logical next step for whichever damned soul sets about perpetrating this porn-based inevitability.
