The Cookies that Make People Cry

Marzipan cookies.  A misleading name, for their taste and texture only barely resembles marzipan paste (which many people, myself included, find just about as delicious as your gramma's bath soap).  These are more like a shortbread cookie with a delightful amaretto essence.  Say that nine times: delightful amaretto essence.  Say it 48 times, and then you will begin to comprehend the dexterous commitment of the holiday marzipan.  NO YOU MAY NOT HAVE THE RECIPE.
