Noelle | Saturday, May 14, 2011 My version of a creative pep talk: I DID NOT MOVE ACROSS THE COUNTRY JUST SO YOU COULD FART IN A NEW LOCATION.
I had uttered about 46 sentences before that one, in varying tones of encouragement, disappointment, faith, and pleading, but of course it was THE FART COMMENT that really struck a chord.

As per tones of voice, don't forget "anger, incredulity, and tactical disappointment - a much more specific and demographically targeted version of disappointment, usually only employed by parents to children, or for international diplomacy."
