Wrong Group

Thursday, November 4, 2010 One night I had a dream. I could see a large number of footprints walking along a sandy shore. Periodically there was only one set of footprints, and every time that happened, the solo set veered crazily off track, into nearby piles of seaweed, into the ocean, and in odd Spiro-graph style circles.
A management type approached me screaming, "What the hell is this?! Wrong wrong wrong!"
"No no no, this isn't all MY fault!" I said.
"But there is only one set of footprints here -- clearly YOU are the one responsible!" shouted the management type.
"No! For you see, when I was the most wrong, everyone followed in my footprints."
"Why would they do that?"
"We're State employees."
Then I woke up and went to work.
